Essence of Sri Bhagavad Gita

Essence of Sri Bhagavad Gita could never be completely summarized in words... nonetheless; Bhagavad Gita shall always remain foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth! Why? What is so prime about sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism that it formed citadel of spirituality! Is Bhagavad Gita the most sacred scripture of Hinduism?

Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna forms core of Hinduism... rather whole humanity! It is Bhagavad Gita that tells us about journey of life undertaken by our soul atman... the spirit within! As per Bhagavad Gita... journey of life always belonged to our soul atman... the spirit within and never the mortal human form!

It is Bhagavad Gita that tells us... our soul atman is on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! During this vast expanse of cosmic sojourn... every soul atman is expected to gain liberation from cycle of birth and death forever and reach abode of God... kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return!

As per Bhagavad Gita... the present human form is but a temporary sojourn in the entire life cycle of soul atman! Every soul atman manifested a body to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within! Of self every soul atman is inert... it could not purify of its own! It needs a medium... a body to cleanse self of all dross impurities within!

The journey of life for a soul atman begins by manifesting form of an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle! Thereafter it further evolves into multi-cell formation... then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally forms of human beings! The human form is the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle.

It is only in human form our soul atman finally regained its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form... when human beings reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)! Reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation is the ultimate goal of life for every soul atman. Human beings gaining enlightenment is a requirement of our soul atman!

As per Bhagavad Gita, God Almighty is the only truth of life! How? As stated in Bhagavad Gita... the present cosmos formed when God Almighty exploded self with a big bang! This resulted in all pure souls atmans scattering all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds. In the melee... the hurtling souls' atmans gathered impurities... similar as a rolling ball gathers moss!

God Almighty... the cluster of all pure souls’ atmans is not form of human beings! A source of magnanimous primordial cosmic power... God Almighty always acted as Dhrishta (onlooker) never interfering with creation of his! Right from beginning to end the whole cosmic system is governed by inscrutable laws of karma... as we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more!

When life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system... these impure souls’ atmans immediately manifested life starting life on mother earth! Travel in human form is the most pleasant experience for a soul atman! It is only in human form our soul atman finally gained release from cycle of birth and death forever!

The doctrine of karma... meaning of dharma ... true meaning and purport of heaven and hell (Swarga and Naraka in Hinduism)... all is explained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism in explicit detail! The relationship between souls' atmans, human form... the manifest animal, plant and insect life... all is explained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism.

How could human beings gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)... all is detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! This is a highly subsidized publication indirectly supported by government of India.

The gist of Geeta is freely available worldwide still, people failed to understand teachings of Bhagavad Gita that could not be understood literally! For assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita it needs reading in between the lines! Knowing Bhagavad Gita one finally became an enlightened one... a Jina... a Mahavira!

The essence of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood from scientific point of view! Spirituality... the essence of Bhagavad Gita is much beyond purview of science. Spirituality starts from point where science ends! Science demands proofs that are not forthcoming in the field of pure spirituality. In the field of pure spirituality absolute faith in God Almighty rules the roost.

As per Bhagavad Gita... born a human being... it becomes our duty to assist our soul atman in the cosmic journey of life! By travelling spiritual path human beings not only assisted their soul atman but also reached cosmic end of life... 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!

As per Bhagavad Gita god almighty could only be reached via path of spirituality... never religion... path of rituals! As per Bhagavad Gita it is only by indulgence in path of jnana yoga human beings finally gained enlightenment and salvation! In present times as per Bhagavad Gita one could not reach God Almighty via path of bhakti yoga (path of religion)!

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata! The essence of Bhagavad Gita was preached to King Arjuna by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita turned the tide of events in favor of Pandava kings who were fighting Kaurava kings!

Pandava King Arjuna who was not prepared to fight his close relatives and friends in the battle of Mahabharata finally agreed to fight all. Pandava King Arjuna ultimately realized that present physical manifest human form was a temporary sojourn for our soul atman. As a king it becomes duty of Arjuna to fight battle of Dharma (righteousness) with adharma (lawlessness)!

It is Bhagavad Gita that proves beyond doubt about theory of creation! As per Bhagavad Gita... the whole cosmic system was not created by God Almighty in seven days! It took billions of years before life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system. No sooner planets like mother earth evolved... hurtling souls' atmans immediately manifested life forms.

Theory of evolution is also explicitly covered in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! It is through complex process of karma and evolution life moved ahead in cosmic life cycle. Unless life evolved in cosmic system... the whole cosmic system would become stagnant and die! From amoeba to human form... life gradually evolved!

Throughout my life until I reached stage of self realization... I never read Bhagavad Gita even once! Still, it is as if I had dictated the contents of sacred Bhagavad Gita in one of my previous manifestations! After reaching stage of enlightenment... self realization... the sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism has become like ABCD to me!

I can vouch for Bhagavad Gita like nobody other can! It is assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... I finally realized God in 1993... At 37 years of age! Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism contains purity and nothing but purity! Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is the summum bonum of spirituality... epitome of spiritual pursuit! There is nothing beyond Bhagavad Gita to be learnt in this life!

The doctrine of karma... the doctrine of nishkama karma is the most vital aspect of human life! Offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time is what nishkama karma is all about! When our soul atman is the absolute master and controller of human body... fruits of karma performed also belonged to our soul atman and not the manifest human form!

One could establish absolute control over five senses and mind only by indulgence in nishkama karma! For reaching God Almighty... establishing absolute control over five senses and mind was a necessity of spiritual path. As per Bhagavad Gita one needed practising absolute celibacy for a period of 12 years in continuation to reach God Almighty in present life!

The process of kundalini awakening... opening of Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus)... all is explained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! One single scripture sufficient for human beings to reach stage of enlightenment and salvation... wow!
