Query: Quotes about Life - Bhagavad Gita quotes on
life!

The best quotes about life are available in
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth! The essence of life as
per Bhagavad Gita always laid in tidbits of life. Only by assimilating wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita human
beings never reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!
Going deeper into the meaning of life... we
find apart from teachings of sacred scriptures one had to learn moral values... follow ethical values without
anyone ever required telling us right from wrong! We had to learn to separate right from wrong! The power to
discriminate exists within every human being... the power of discrimination that distinguished us from
animals!
Bhagavad Gita quotes on life form basis of
life on mother earth! One of the finest quotes about life comes from Hindu scriptures. Quotes about
forgiveness... quotes about forgetting the past... quotes about forgiving one for always and ever! The essence
of life truly lay in never looking back. Whatever happened... has happened for good... says Bhagavad Gita of
Hinduism!
One very simple incident of life occurred in
life of a Hindu saint! While taking Bath along a swollen river the saint noticed a crab float by! Immediately he
pounced on the crab and picked it up in his hand! He wanted to save the life of the crab. No sooner the crab was
out of water (struggling for life) he bit the hand of the saint.
The saint jerked his hand and the crab again fell into the flooded river. The saint again picked the crab and again
the crab bit the saint in the hand. The crab again fell down into the swollen river. The third time when he picked
the crab in his hand... a commoner... one from the masses passed by! He minutely observed what the saint was
doing!
In his exasperation he asked of the saint...
why he wanted to give life to a crab that was biting him again and again! The quote given by the saint surprised
this laborer. He could not believe his ears.
The saint said, when an ordinary insect... a
small animal the size of a crab could not leave his habit of biting again and again... how could he... a human
being... a saintly figure abandon his desire to save one again and again! The saint told... as a human being he
was only carrying out his duty towards all living beings!
As per the saint... it was in the habit of
crab to bite anything and it was for the saint to forgive one... save one again and again! Such a quote about
life cannot be found anywhere else other than Hinduism scriptures! The art of forgiveness... the art of
forgiving one forever is easy to preach... but difficult to practice!
What the laborer observed was... forgiveness at its best! If the entire mankind started practising forgiveness...
then the world would become more livable! Practising level of forgiveness practiced and preached by the saint...
any human being world over could scale any goal of life!
People committed mistakes... so did
intelligent animals. Forgiveness does not mean forgiving hard-core criminals! Forgiveness practically means not
remembering past and moving ahead in life irrespective of all that occurred in past! As we cannot go into
past... even if we paid $1 million per second... why brood over past and mar our future!
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism says... unless we
buried our past behind... we could not live the present meaningfully! To live the present... to enjoy our
day-to-day life... we have to bury the past... no matter what the results. The past can only be forgotten if we
forgive one and all. Forgiveness is a means to close the past forever!
To preach forgiveness is easy... to practice
very difficult! But if we have to get out of the rut of life... we have to forgive those who ill treated us in
past. We practically had no other alternative. Forgiving people does not mean becoming friends again. We need
not maintain the past relationship if we want to.
Forgiveness practically is a one-way path. If we forgive someone... does not necessarily mean the other has
forgiven us!
World over millions of people lived life of
bondage... bonded by affiliations of past! The sooner we forget the past... better for all! By remembering
inspirational quotes about life detailed in Bhagavad Gita and other Hinduism scriptures... human beings not only
became wiser in the journey of life but finally succeeded in manifesting life forever.
Manifesting life truly meant taking charge
of destiny forever. As per Bhagavad Gita quotes on life... we are the absolute master and controller of destiny!
At no stage of life God Almighty was responsible for our past or present! As our karma... accordingly the
manifestation of life! Indulging in vice all the time we could not expect a bright future
ahead!
As per quotes of karma... as we sow so shall
we reap... nothing less or more!
As a human being for taking charge in life... we must learn to forgive people and also mould our karma in a fashion
that we manifested destiny forever.
