Who is the Founder of Hinduism

Who is the founder of Hinduism... the foremost of all religions existing from times immemorial! Hinduism is never termed a religion... it is always treated as... "A way of life"! Hinduism religion is not bounded by a particular flock of human beings belonging to particular faith or belief! Hinduism is primarily followed by people living in India... erstwhile Bharatvarsha!

Before India gained independence in 1947... It was a conglomerate of above 600 independent princely states that together formed Indian subcontinent! Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel... then home minister of India combined all the 600+ princely states to form Indian republic! Hinduism religion primarily consists of different faiths and beliefs. Both Jainism and Buddhism form part of Hinduism religion.

There is not one Founder of Hinduism! The collective wisdom... the sacred Vedas (Hinduism revelations), Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent treatises)... Puranas, Itihasas, Agamas and Darshanas... all form part of Hinduism! Initially came Vedas, first Hinduism revelations revealed to mankind by grace of God Almighty.

The wisdom of Vedas was invoked by different sages and saints of different era! Then followed wisdom contained in various Upanishads (independent treatises). The wisdom of all Upanishads was independently invoked by different sages and saints of yester era who reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in their lifetime!

Along with wisdom of Upanishads came doctrine of Bhagavad Gita that was given to mankind by Lord Krishna in battle of Mahabharata between Pandava and Kaurava Kings! The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism forms summum bonum of spirituality! Beyond wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita there is nothing further to be known by human beings!

The wisdom contained in Puranas, Itihasas, Agamas and Darshanas was invoked by various sages and saints of different era! Even Lord Krishna cannot be considered founder of Hinduism. Yes, in the time of Lord Krishna precipitated the most important scripture of Hinduism... the sacred Bhagavad Gita... a doctrine that has no parallel in mankind!

Collectively sages and saints of different era were founders of Hinduism. Hinduism religion truly is a universal language... a universal religion that has no boundaries! The wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism can be followed by any human being... belonging to any religion, faith or belief! For knowing Bhagavad Gita one need not convert to Hinduism ever!

Hinduism founder were primarily Aryans... sages and saints who lived in upper regions of Himalayas... the snow-clad mountains! As conditions in these areas became unsuitable for Habitat because of extreme weather conditions... these Aryan sages and saints moved further down to warmer regions that is now termed India!

The word Hinduism was coined by Muslim invaders! When Muslims from West invaded India... they crossed river Indus! As Muslims pronounced H for I... they started calling people East of Indus as Hindus and the religion as Hinduism!

As per history of Hinduism... not hundreds but thousands gained enlightenment from India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha) in the entire history of mankind! Comparatively in West till date only Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed gained enlightenment. Spirituality truly belongs to India... prime reason why Hinduism was earlier termed Sanatana Dharma!

Sanatana Dharma means a Dharma existing from times immemorial! It was only after onslaught of Muslim invaders... Sanatana Dharma was more predominantly termed Hinduism religion... a religion of all!

Ever since humanity developed roots, Hinduism religion existed on mother earth! Before advent of any religion on mother earth existed Dharma (our right to do what is just and right... and not what was destined)! It is primarily Dharma that differentiated human beings from animals! Dharma is that inherent ingredient of cosmic system that keeps human beings in check!

In absence of Dharma... human beings would behave no better than animals! It is existence of Hindu Dharma... Sanatana Dharma that life carries value on mother earth!
