Spiritual guidance is an essential factor in the life of human beings. In absence of spirituality... human life was not worth more than that of an animal! Most human beings who traveled path of religion... path of rituals never enjoyed life fully! Indulging in material riches all the time does not mean enjoying life. Life could only be enjoyed when one had total blessings of God Almighty.  

Blessings of God Almighty were always available to seekers of spirituality... never religious travellers... followers of rituals! If I say, I need spiritual guidance... what does it mean? The teachings of spirituality though available freely all over the Internet were meaningless to most. Why? The teachings of spirituality simply could not be understood literally... all sacred scriptures demand reading in between the lines! 

Serious spiritual guidance becomes necessitated as most terminology in field of pure spirituality had a hidden meaning behind! For travellers of spiritual path... teachings of Bhagavad Gita Hinduism were vital to full spiritual awakening. Stage of enlightenment could be easily reached if we had a truthful spiritual guidance counselor in life. But so was not to be. To get a spiritual master in the journey of life is almost next to possible. 

No matter how best I tried to get a spiritual guidance counselor... I did not find one! I kept seeking spiritual guidance from one and all. For spiritual guidance I looked forward to my parents, my class teacher, my principal... but none came to my rescue! Perhaps all were ignorants on path of pure spirituality! It seemed they had no inkling what spiritual awakening... spiritual guidance was all about! Everyone seemed to travel path of religion... path of rituals... not path of spirituality! 

Spiritual guidance online is available in bulk yet, in absence of a preceptor... a true spiritual counselor in person... everything seemed vague! Finding spiritual guidance online is extremely difficult as not many in present times reached stage of enlightenment! Rather none in present times is fully enlightened. After Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... none world over reached stage of enlightenment... had full spiritual awakening!

Even though most spiritual guidance online is available absolutely free of all costs... it does not serve much purpose. Unless there were preceptors to solve our queries on day-to-day basis... we might remain stuck forever in our spiritual journey. Whatever literature related to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana is available on Internet... it must be assimilated in totality! Why not duplicate the path of those who gained enlightenment in their lifetime! 

In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over... only two spiritual stalwarts Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana finally succeeded in their spiritual efforts to reach stage of enlightenment... full spiritual awakening! Ever since I realized God in 1993... I am but imparting to world community through medium of Internet pearls of wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! 

To read or not to read... to follow or not to follow is the responsibility of individual seeker of spirituality! I am always available 24 x 7 to serious seekers of spirituality. A collection of above 3000 essays on my various websites contained hidden clues unveiling which any human being world over could easily gain enlightenment... reach stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi! It is a different matter that full spiritual awakening was not that easily reached! 

I receive so many queries saying that, I want to reach God early... please help me! Can such people ever reach God in their lifetime? People who had no idea about spirituality... individuals who had yet to start their journey of spirituality... could they ever learn anything from a spiritual counselor if they met one! A student of class one could not be expected to jump to class 10! 

If a child says I need to go to moon... can even the best astrophysicist help one in reaching the moon without any preparation! Field of spirituality is one of the toughest subjects facing mankind! It is dwelling in field of pure spirituality... wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita that Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana finally gained enlightenment!

Seeking free spiritual guidance through free medium of internet seemed easy... but to undertake spiritual journey equally difficult! Most beginners of spiritual path always wanted a shortcut path to reaching God! What people failed to realize was... in the field of pure spirituality it was karma that played the governing role! Unless we cut across shackles of karma forever... unless we practiced absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation... one could not gain enlightenment... no matter what! 

Enlightenment... full spiritual awakening... stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi is not that easily achieved! The field of spirituality demanded highest level of perfection that could ever be practiced by human beings. Unless we had the potential to become a Swami Vivekananda... we could not travel spiritual journey sincerely and diligently! 

Swami Vivekananda was one who could have easily gained enlightenment in his lifetime! But goal of life for Swami Vivekananda was different... he wanted to serve the community to its best! Swami Vivekananda needed funds to improve life of commoners’ masses at large... prime reason why he took a journey to the West. The famous speech by Swami Vivekananda in 1893 at World's Parliament of Religions was primarily aimed at getting funds for the community! 

In exchange Swami Vivekananda wanted to barter spirituality. His experiment failed. None in the West recognized his worth. He practically returned empty-handed... totally heartbroken! Shortly thereafter in 1902 Swami Vivekananda left his mortal frame! Spirituality truly could not be bartered... prime reason why humanity looked forward to free spiritual guidance all the time! People failed to realize that spiritual preceptors... masters need money even for spiritual work! 

Looking forward to free spiritual guidance is not wrong... but did people really gain something out of free service? I have my apprehensions. Why? 

Sage Jnanavalakya... composer and compiler of the most voluminous Upanishad Brihadarankya attended a congregation of about 10,000 spiritual and religious preachers of his time. King Janaka (father of Sita in Ramayana) had organized this spiritual event! Even before the discourses started... Sage Jnanavalakya on entering the venue ordered his followers to take the first prize back home! The entire congregation was flabbergasted... aghast!

They shouted in disdain about the unbecoming attitude of Sage Jnanavalakya! Even when competition had not yet started... how could Sage Jnanavalakya declare himself won and take the prize! King Janaka knew results of the competition even before it started! He had organized the event to favor Sage Jnanavalakya so that he gets the bounty for his spiritual activities. 

Why was sage Jnanavalakya so confident that he would win the prize in the end? Sage Jnanavalakya was an enlightened one... a karma Yogi... a kaivalya jnani of the highest order! The first prize he finally won consisted of hundred thousand cows that had five gold coins tied to each horn! The entire bounty amounted to 100,000 cows and 1 million gold coins! 

Someone asked Sage Jnanavalakya... as he had gained enlightenment... for what purpose he needed the money! Enlightened ones are supposed to keep away from material wealth. On his query, Sage Jnanavalakya replied... for the upkeep and maintenance of my ashram (hermitage) and welfare of above 3000 students he had in ashram. 

In present times when charitable institutions worked for benefit of mankind... they cared more for their name and fame than true welfare of mankind. People want everything free without ever wanting to give back something in return for spiritual services they acquired absolutely free of all costs! In spiritual parlance it was termed guru dakshina. 

In spiritual terminology both charity and guru dakshina had different connotations! Charity was mostly one-sided... not much depending upon organization or incumbent to whom it was given. Guru Dakshina meant wanting to help spiritual master in all possible ways! In present scientific age... who was the better judge to assess usage of money... the spiritual master or the giver!
